Kevin Scott Stapleton

After a successful 35-year career in wealth management, Kevin Scott Stapleton retired to Pebble Beach, California, where he had built his dream home. His career began in sales and marketing with IBM right out of university. Stapleton worked for IBM in Los Angeles for nearly five years before turning his attention to financial services with A.G. Edwards, where he built a successful money-management practice.

A.G. Edwards had a long history in the brokerage industry, where he worked for 21 years until the firm was purchased by Wachovia Securities and, within a year, bought by Wells Fargo. Stapleton worked for Wells Fargo for nine years at the organization’s Carmel, California office until he founded Stapleton Wealth Management (SWM), where he provided services for a portfolio of high-end clients for five years until deciding to retire and enjoy his beautiful home and the life he built in Pebble Beach.
